OPINION

PEAY, Judge.

The defendant was indicted for driving on a revoked license. On November 22, 1993, the defendant filed a motion to suppress the evidence obtained as a result of the stop of his automobile. Following an evidentiary hearing on February 15,1994, the trial judge sustained the defendant’s motion finding that *4the stop of the defendant’s automobile was improper.

The State brings this appeal as of right contending that the trial court erred in sustaining the defendant’s motion to suppress. Following a review of the record, we reverse and remand for further proceedings.
