This action was commenced in the district court for Douglas county under the provisions of the so-called ‘‘Scavenger Act,” for the collection of the delinquent taxes for the years 1892, 1893 and 1894 upon a tract of land in *571said county described as the west 52 acres of the east 78 acres of the southwest quarter of section 7, in township 15, range 13.
