HENDEBSON, Judge.
Appellant was convicted of unlawfully carrying a pistol, and his punishment assessed at a fine of $25; hence this appeal.
The testimony shows that appellant and his wife were not living together, and that on the occasion in question he carried the pistol to the house where his wife was living, pulled it out of his pocket while there, stating that he had brought it there for her protection, tried to put it behind the clock, but it would -not fit.
