LAVORATO, Chief Justice.
Lee Gibson filed this action against ITT Hartford Insurance Company (ITT) alleging multiple theories of recovery and punitive damages arising out of ITT’s handling of Gibson’s claim for workers’ compensation benefits. Before submitting the case to the jury, the district court granted ITT’s motion for directed verdict on several of the liability theories and on punitive damages.
