OPINION AND ORDER

SESSIONS, Chief Judge.

Plaintiff Leandro Umali (“Umali”) has sued Defendants National Off-Road Bicycling Association (“NORBA”), USA Cycling, Inc. (“USAC”), and Mount Snow, Ltd. (“Mount Snow”) 1 jointly and severally for gross negligence, and willful and wanton acts and omissions in the design and construction of a dual slalom bicycle race course. NORBA, USAC, and Mount Snow have moved for summary judgment on the basis that Umali released them from these claims. Alternatively, Defendants seek summary judgment under Vermont’s sports injury statute, Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 12, § 1037…
