After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b; MSA 28.788(2). Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment with a recommendation that he not be paroled. This Court affirmed defendant’s conviction. Docket No. 45954, decided July 9, 1981 (unreported). In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the Michigan Supreme Court reversed defendant’s conviction and remanded the matter for a new trial. 417 Mich 285; 335 NW2d 465 (1983).
