The duly authorized agent of the defendant invited the plaintiff to call on him on business, at the Boston Opera House, *583the place of business of the defendant. He said he “was there all the time; ” there was no “ show on,” and directed the plaintiff to “ Come up, if the front door ain’t open, come round the back and come up;” “if you can’t get in the front door, come around the back and come upstairs.” The plaintiff had never seen the opera house.
