Plaintiff became disabled on
December 10, 1947, from long exposure to and inhalation of chrome in the course of his employment. He has not since been gainfully employed. He received $21 per week compensation for 500 weeks, from December 10, 1947, until July 1, 1957.
On July 15,1957, he filed application for additional benefits for permanent and total disability. The hearing referee, after finding plaintiff permanently and totally disabled as a matter of fact, granted him, by an award later affirmed by the appeal board, an additional 250 weeks compensation from his employer, as…
