On August 29th, 1919, Ralph Cover, of Westminster, Carroll County, I. C. Taliaferro and John Coyle, both of Baltimore City, entered into' an agreement for1 the exploitation and development of improved machinery to be used in the manufacture of canned goods in processing, sterilizing and preserving the .contents of containers of fruits, vegetables and other food products, for some of which improvements letters patent had been applied for.
