SPEAR, J.

Dwight Owen Schweitzer, trial counsel for the plaintiff, Clementina Prioli, appeals from the decision of the workers’ compensation review board (board), which affirmed the workers’ compensation commissioner’s decision denying Schweitzer’s motion to open and modify an award of attorney’s fees in connection with the plaintiffs case.1 Schweitzer claims (1) that the commissioner improperly exceeded his authority in determining his fees and (2) that, in the alternative, the provisions of the Workers’ Compensation Act, General Statutes § 31-275 et seq., pertaining to the…
