PEDPHREY, Chief Justice.

This suit was filed in the El Paso county court at law by appellee, a partnership, against J. M. Speed, R. E. Stockard, and Abe Ignater, seeking to recover the sum of $202.11, the alleged value of goods, wares, and merchandise sold to appellees. Speed and Stockard filed the following pleading:
