In 1874, John Kistler was indicted and convicted of blackmailing Adam Ilereth, and was sent to the state-prison. At the May term of this court, in the year 1875, the judgment of conviction in that case was reversed on account of the insufficiency of the indictment. Kessler [Kistler] v. The State, 50 Ind. 229.
