By a will executed and probated in 1854, Mrs. Mary Ann Harper devised and bequeathed, to the persons named as executors therein, her entire estate, upon uses and trusts declared in the following words:
“In trust, nevertheless, for the uses and purposes hereinafter expressed, that is to say, in trust for the support and maintenance, of my children not provided for, and to have a home for them under the supervision of my husband alone.
