On March 29, 2016, Irena Pest (“plaintiff’) filed this action against Bridal Works of New York Inc. .and Aleksandra Bach (collectively, “defendants”), seeking unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, and attorneys’ fees and costs, under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201 et seq., and New York Labor Law (“NYLL”) §§ 650 et seq.
