TAYLOR, Justice.

The allegations of the amended complaint set forth the following state of facts.

Plaintiffs (appellants) Gwen, Blair and Jayne Gilbert are the minor children, and Delores Gilbert is the widow, of Jay Gilbert, deceased. The village of Bancroft is a municipal corporation, existing under the laws of this state. The village owns, and operates a water system supplying water to the inhabitants and residents of the village for a monetary consideration.
