OPINION
STEWART, Judge.
Komson I. Spencer and a cohort, David Williams, restrained and assaulted Nathaniel Ahsoak over a period of several hours. For this conduct, Spencer was convicted of kidnapping and first-degree assault1 and was *651sentenced to a composite term of 10 years' imprisonment. Spencer now appeals these convictions. For the reasons explained here, we conclude that Spencer's claims of error have no merit, and we therefore affirm the judgment of the superior court.
