Stated in the briefest and most general terms, this hill was filed chiefly to set aside a purchase by the American Cities Railway & Light Company (hereinafter called .the “American Company”) of the majority of stock of the Memphis Street Railway Company, whereby the American Company acquired a controlling interest in *237the latter company.
