Roger King, a Georgia prisoner, pro se appeals the dismissal of his 28 U.S.C. § 2254 petition for a writ of habeas corpus as barred by 28 U.S.C. § 2244(d)’s one-year statute of limitations. On appeal, King argues that his petition was timely and that he has presented a valid ineffective assistance of counsel claim.
