This was an action brought by the state of Nebraska, on relation of the attorney general, as a result of which the secretary of the department of public welfare of the state of Nebraska revoked the license of the defendant to practice medicine.

The petition charged that Lilburn B. Lake, the defendant, was licensed by the department of public welfare of the state of Nebraska to practice the profession of medicine and surgery in the state of Nebraska and was engaged in such practice in Omaha by virtue of such license.
