OPINION
ORRICK, District Judge.
These securities fraud actions were consolidated for all purposes, including for trial. After a three-week trial and two days of deliberations, the jury brought in special verdicts, more particularly hereindescribed. Plaintiffs’ counsel attacked the verdicts on the ground that they were inconsistent and ambiguous. The threshold issue facing the Court is whether to enter judgment on the verdicts as returned or whether to grant plaintiffs’ motion for a new trial.
