CONKLING, Judge.
William Mayor, hereinafter called plaintiff, appealed from a judgment entered after the trial court had sustained the motion, for new trial filed by St. Louis Public Service Company, hereinafter called defendant In his action for damages for personal injuries the jury had returned a verdict for $25,000 for plaintiff. Plaintiff filed a motion for new trial on the issue of damages only. Defendant filed a motion for new trial of all the issues in the case. The trial court overruled plaintiff’s motion for new trial, but sustained defendant’s motion for new trial on the grounds…
