SULLIVAN, Judge:

On March 10, 1987, appellant was tried by a military judge sitting alone as a special court-martial at Camp Casey, Republic of Korea. Pursuant to his pleas, he was convicted of two specifications of violating *113a lawful general regulation1 and a single specification of making a false sworn statement, in violation of Articles 92 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 892 and 934, respectively.
