This is an appeal from a judgment of the Hudson County Court of Common Pleas. The action was instituted against the defendant-appellant to recover damages for injuries received by Margaret Hunter as the result of a fall from the step of a trolley car of the defendant. The plaintiff was a married woman. Her husband was joined as plaintiff. He sought consequential damages. The negligence of the defendant complained of was the allowance of ice to accumulate upon the step used by Mrs. Hunter in alighting from the car. The accident took place…
