Montana Supreme Court

Decided December 22, 1999No. 99-330PublishedCited by 21 opinions

1Opinion of the CourtJustice Trieweiler

¶1 The Petitioner, Jeff Smith, Jr., applied to the District Court for the Fourth Judicial District in Missoula County for a writ of mandate to compel the Missoula County Sheriff to issue to him a concealed weapon permit, and also appealed the sheriff’s decision to deny his *370application for a concealed weapon permit. The District Court denied his application for a writ of mandate, and following a hearing, the District Court denied his appeal. Smith appeals both decisions of the District Court. We affirm the judgment of the District Court.
