Respondent Independent School District No. 696 placed relator Tamia Moe on an approximately 15% unrequested leave of absence. Relator sought to exercise seniority rights pursuant to Minn.Stat. § 122A.40, subd. 11 (2000). Following a hearing, respondent determined that relator’s teaching schedule did not allow her to bump into supervisory assignments held by two less-senior teachers without compromising the educational needs of the district’s students.
