The board of education of Warren county, on April 30,1920, passed a resolution, reading: s’
“C. G. Davenport was ordered to build another room and add a porch to schoolhouse. ’ ’
For several years before the passage of the foregoing ■resolution Davenport had been a member of the board of education but his term expired a few days before its date. The school housp to which reference was made in the resolution was known as “Stephens Chapel,” in which district Davenport lived.
