In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Richmond County (McMahon, J.), dated January 18, 2008, which granted the defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The plaintiff allegedly was injured when she slipped and fell on an accumulation of water at the foot of a staircase in the Metropolitan Opera House, which is owned by the defendant Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., and operated by the defendant Metropolitan Opera. She subsequently…
