THIS CAUSE came before the Court for an evidentiary hearing commencing on June 18, 2008, upon Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Injunction [D.E. 24]. Plaintiffs are nonprofit organizations and a private citizen engaged in third-party voter registration activities in Florida. Plaintiffs filed this suit challenging the constitutionality of Florida’s recently amended statute regulating the handling of voter registration applications by third-party voter registration organizations.
