Homer Ray McPherson, Sr., appeals the order of the district court overruling his motion for postconviction relief. For the reasons recited below, we dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction.

In order for this court to obtain jurisdiction, the notice of appeal must be filed in the appropriate district court within 30 days after the rendition of a judgment. Neb. Rev. Stat. § 25-1912(1) (Cum. Supp. 1992).
