Barry Lynn Grier was tried and convicted of six counts: aggravated assault, possession of a knife while committing the crime, interference with government property, terroristic threats, and two counts of obstruction of an officer. He appeals, contending that the trial court erred in denying his request for a continuance after a new State’s witness appeared the day of trial, and in denying his request for a directed verdict of acquittal on one of the obstruction counts.
