This case concerns the extent of in per-sonam relief that a court can grant to a buyer under Bankruptcy Code § 363(f). Morgan Olson LLC (“Morgan”) purchased the debtor’s assets at a bankruptcy sale free and clear of liens, claims and interests. The sale order also exonerated Morgan from certain successor liability claims. John and Denise Frederico (the “Frederi-cos”) subsequently sued Morgan as the debtor’s successor, contending that they were injured after the bankruptcy…
