Defendant-Appellant Vicente Kotekapika Hilario (Hilario) appeals from the July 25, 2013 Judgment of Conviction and Sentence for Murder in the First Degree in violation of Hawai'i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 707-701(1)(c) (Supp. 2016) and Bribery of a Witness in violation of HRS § 710-1070(1) (2014) entered by the Circuit Court of the Fifth Circuit (Circuit Court)1.
