Terrance Covington ("Movant") appeals from the motion court's judgment, after an evidentiary hearing, denying his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief. Movant was convicted, following a jury trial, of two counts of first-degree robbery, in violation of Section 569.020 RSMo.,1 and two counts of armed criminal action, in violation of Section 571.015. Movant was sentenced as a prior and persistent offender to concurrent terms of 28 years of imprisonment on each of the four counts. This Court affirmed those convictions on appeal in State v. Covington, 501 S.W.3d 914 (Mo. App. E.D. 2016).…
