Sam H. Schaefer, as the owner of a tract of land located in Bexar County, Texas, outside the corporate limits of the City of San Antonio, but within five miles thereof, made a map or plat of such alnd. This map or plat divides the land into blocks, lots, and streets, and dedicates the streets to the public. The purpose of the map or plat is to enable Schaefer to make sales of the lots shown thereon in accordance with the instrument. We think we have a right to assume that after the map or plat is recorded the blocks and lots shown thereon will be rendered for taxation in accordance therewith,…
