January 26, 1925, James T. Dickerson, aged seventy-five years, died intestate at his home in Knoxville, in Knox county. He left him surviving no children or descendants of deceased children but left as his heirs his widow, Jessie Dickerson, the appellant, and certain brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces, the children of deceased brothers and sisters. He had been the owner of about 350 acres of farm land in Knox county and a home in Knoxville, where he and his wife resided at the time of his death. After his death his widow was appointed as administratrix of his estate. She thereafter…
