Howard University terminated Dr. Daniel Yesudian from his job in the University’s Purchasing Department on May 1, 1992. The University said he was terminated for insubordination; Yesudian claimed he was discharged in retaliation for whistleblowing activities protected by the False Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. §§ 3729-3733.
