OPINION

McCORMICK, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Punishment was assessed at five years’ confinement.

In his first ground of error, appellant contends the evidence adduced at trial was insufficient to show that his conduct caused the victim’s death. The evidence showed that the victim, an eighteen year old woman in good health was riding in a car which rear-ended a car driven by appellant on Highway 59 in northeast Texas. At the time of the accident appellant was backing up on the highway and, although it was dark, testimony showed that the lights on appellant’s car…
