Patricia Williams and Charles Stanford appeal the dismissal of their wrongful death claim against Alvista Healthcare Center, Inc. and four employees (collectively “Alvista”), contending that the trial court erred in (1) ruling that their complaint alleged professional malpractice which required them to file an affidavit in accordance withOCGA§ 9-11-9.1 (a); and (2) concluding that laches barred their claim against two individual defendants.
