This action is to recover damages sustained by the plaintiff, November 26, 1895, while driving a milk wagon on Ninth street, across the defendant’s main track, about a mile anda quarter southwesterly from the defendant’s depot in Oshkosh. Issue being joined and. trial had, the jury returned a special verdict to the effect (1) that the defendant was guilty of negligence which was the proximate cause of the plaintiff’s injury; (2) that the plaintiff was not guilty of negligence which contributed proximately to the injury; (3) that the plaintiff did stop and look northeasterly along the railroad…
