{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant Nicole Ramey appeals from the judgment of the Gallia County Court of Common Pleas, which granted summary judgment in favor of Gallia County, its sheriff, defendant-appellee David Martin, and the Gallia County Board of Commissioners, defendants-appellees Shirley Angel, Skip Meadows, and Bill Davis.

{¶ 2} Appellant asserts that the trial court erred by not finding appellees liable pursuant to the doctrine of respondeat superior for the acts committed by former sheriffs deputy, defendant Richard Mudd.
