MEMORANDUM

MERHIGE, District Judge.

Plaintiffs, flight attendants employed by defendant Eastern Airlines, Inc., bring this action pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S. C. 2000e et seq.) in which they challenge the maternity policies of Eastern as applied to female employees. Plaintiffs seek injunctive and declaratory relief, back pay, court costs and attorney’s fees. Defendants Transport Workers’ Union of America, Locals 550 and 553 (Union), are the labor unions which negotiated' the contested maternity policies with defendant Eastern.
