This matter is now before the court on defendant’s motion for summary judgment (docket no. 57) and plaintiffs’ motion for partial summary judgment (docket no. 59).

I. Background

Plaintiffs set forth the following allegations in their amended complaint. Defendant mailed them a collection letter, dated December 14, 2005, demanding payment of a debt owed to American Campgrounds, Inc. (“ACI”) in the amount of $6,506.58. Amend. Compl. at ¶ 8.
