O’NEAL, Justice.

This action was brought by Hubert Linker, plaintiff, by Maud Savage, his sister and next friend, to recover on quantum meruit for work and labor. It was brought against John R. Linker and Ada Linker. John R. Linker was the father of Hubert Linker, and Plubert Linker lived with his father and mother from his birth, April 16, 1903, until his mother died in 1914. His father remarried and he lived with his father and stepmother until August 7, 1950, The suit was for $1 per day for work and labor done and performed from the day plaintiff reached his majority in 1924 until August 7,…
