Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Calabretta, J.), rendered June 7, 1990, convicting him of murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The victim was shot in the neck by the defendant after an argument on a street corner. The bullet struck the victim’s spine and rendered him quadriplegic. He died approximately three months after the shooting. The medical examiner who performed the autopsy testified that the cause of death was…
