Norton v. State
Supreme Court of Arkansas
1Opinion of the Court
David Newbern, Justice.
The appellant, Fran Norton, was convicted of cruelty to animals. She contends the evidence was insufficient, some of the evidence should have been suppressed due to violation of the Fourth Amendment and Ark. R. Crim. P. 15.4, and in any event, she should not have been convicted on more than one count as she was charged with only one count. We hold the evidence was sufficient, there was no violation of the Fourth Amendment, and Ms. Norton was properly charged and convicted of two counts of the offense. The conviction is affirmed.
