Appellant sued appellee in the circuit court of Cook county in an action of assumpsit. His declaration contained the common counts, with which he filed a bill of particulars for legal services rendered the defendant at his request, and a balance due for certain shares of capital stock of the Home National Bank of Chicago. The plea was the general issue, with a stipulation that all defenses might be introduced thereunder. On a trial by the court, a jury being waived, judgment was rendered for the defendant, which has been affirmed by the Appellate Court.
