In this diversity action, Valiant Insurance Company (Valiant) and First of Georgia Insurance Company (First) seek to recover from the Birdsong-McKenney Insurance Agency and Charles A. Birdsong (hereinafter collectively referred to as Birdsong) the expenses they incurred as a result of Birdsong’s alleged improper binding of a risk not within the guidelines laid down by Valiant and First.
