Plaintiff-Relator initiated this qui tam action under the False Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. § 3729 et seq., and under Michigan’s Medicaid False Claims Act, Mich. Comp. Laws § 400.610a, against her former employer, Bon Secours Cottage Health Services (“Defendant”), alleging that Defendant fraudulently submitted inflated and inaccurate bills to Medicare and Medicaid for payment.
