This proceeding for the removal of Joe Box from the office of sheriff and tax collector of Hutchinson County was commenced August 17, 1903, in the District Court of that' county, as provided in articles 3541, 3542 and 3543 of Bevised Statutes. The petition was signed and sworn to by T. N. Bussell, as relator, and was filed in the name of the State of Texas.
