Respondents, Rudolph R. Curróla and Barbara A. Curróla (the objectors), sought judicial review of the 1982 tax assessment on property they purchased in 1983. They alleged that the assessment was excessive. Kane County Collector Robert Critton (the collector), filed a motion to strike and dismiss the objectors’ objections on the basis that they were precluded from seeking judicial review when the administrative remedy provided in the Revenue Act (Ill.
